You might be interested to know that during some of my time on the hull, I had the Console fold up a virtual multitrack studio. I then arranged bass lines, and keyboard chords whatever struck my fancy. It was a good way of dealing with my anxiety of never making it back to Earth. It’s not like I was in a fury of inspiration for hours on end. I had the program open and then I added another bit, upon the bits I had put down. I don’t know if I ever spent over ten minutes at a time.
While in the hull, I didn’t have a guitar to lay down those tracks, but as you know a Console’s Synth is good at following requests like I want a G Major chord to happen here, and then sync it all up with a drummer who would also play according to my instructed arrangement.
Anyway, (after my return) I recently replaced the guitar tracks because I wanted hands-on influence to that degree at least. I got my hands on a guitar bass and put down those tracks as well.
I call my virtual band OutsideHello. Named after the greeting phrase Ionee's Others asked us to deliver to Earth.
Each song is inspired by what I experienced, and what I experienced is in my journal.
